Tomato BETTA is an ultra-early, low-growing variety designed for cultivation in open ground. The plants are compact, reaching 40–50 cm in height, and have a bushy form, eliminating the need for staking and pinching. Thanks to its early fruit ripening, the first harvest can be collected as early as 85 days after germination, avoiding fungal diseases. Sowing seedlings is recommended in early to mid-April, with transplanting into the soil in early May. The variety is also suitable for direct sowing under plastic coverings in early May, followed by transplanting in early June. The optimal planting density is 4–5 plants per square meter, with a yield of 2 kg per plant. Tomatoes of the BETTA variety have a round shape, bright red color, and a weight of 30–60 grams depending on growing conditions. They grow in clusters of 4–5 fruits, with a firm skin that provides good resistance to cracking and allows for canning and pickling. The flesh is juicy, meaty, with a rich, tangy-sweet tomato flavor and a pronounced aroma. The fruits are fully ripe, with no green shoulders, indicating high quality and maturity. The variety is resistant to low light and major diseases, as well as cold temperatures, making it suitable for various climatic conditions. Due to its compact bush and lack of need for pinching, tomato BETTA is easy to care for and suitable for both amateur and commercial cultivation. Its fruits are ideal for fresh consumption, salad preparation, and processing for market sale.
