Druzhok

Tomato Druzhok is a fast-maturing, low-growing hybrid reaching up to 70 cm in height, intended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses, tunnels, and open ground. The period from germination to the start of fruiting is approximately 90-95 days, allowing early harvest. Sowing for seedlings is recommended in early to mid-April, with planting in the ground scheduled for late May to early June; sowing can be delayed to late April. Pinching is performed at the stage of the first true leaf, and transplanting seedlings into the ground occurs when plants are 30-35 days old, depending on weather conditions. Plants form 2-3 stems, with a planting scheme of 40x50 cm. Tomato Druzhok fruits are round, weighing up to 80 grams, primarily intended for salad use, but also suitable for whole-fruit canning. They are flat-round, large-ribbed near the stem, glossy, and turn a rich red color upon ripening. The flesh is meaty and flavorful, especially valuable for early varieties. Yield per plant ranges from 3.5 to 4 kg, and with proper agronomy, can reach 6.9 to 10 kg per square meter. Tomato Druzhok exhibits high resistance to major diseases such as tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, and fusarium, ensuring stable yields and reducing the need for frequent protective treatments. Thanks to its friendly fruiting and compact plant size, this hybrid is convenient to grow and suitable for both amateur and professional plantings. It is versatile in application, ideal for fresh consumption and canning.
