Tomato DRW 7680

Field Performance of Monsanto DRV 7680

When working with professional-grade seeds like the DRV 7680 from Monsanto, predictability is the most valuable asset. This determinate tomato hybrid is designed for field cultivation, where ease of management and uniform maturation define the season's profitability.

Operator Experience

From an operational standpoint, this hybrid is built for efficiency. Its root system is exceptionally robust, providing a safety buffer during periods of inconsistent irrigation—a common challenge in field conditions. Being a determinate variety, the plant growth is naturally self-limiting, which removes the labor-intensive requirement of complex staking or aggressive pruning.

• Operational Efficiency: The growth habit allows for easy access with standard machinery for inter-row maintenance, reducing fuel and labor overhead.
• Disease Management: Thanks to Monsanto's breeding standards, the hybrid shows high resistance to common pathogens, allowing for a more streamlined chemical application program.
• Market Readiness: The fruit quality is consistent, holding up well under handling and transportation, which is vital for maintaining margins in distribution.

Managing a plot with DRV 7680 is straightforward. The plants respond well to standard fertilization schedules without requiring excessive pampering. For any operator looking to minimize risk and maximize consistency in their harvest, this variety offers a reliable and pragmatic solution.
