SIBERIAN DIAMOND

Siberian Diamond is a new mid-season tomato variety from the company Gavriš, intended for cultivation in greenhouses and open ground, especially in southern regions. The plant is characterized by vigorous stem growth and a prolonged fruiting period, ensuring a stable and abundant harvest. Fruits ripen on day 94–100 after germination, have a bright red color, medium-ribbed shape, and dense structure. The weight of one tomato ranges from 160 to 190 grams, making them ideal for fresh use in salads and garnishes, as well as for making tomato paste, sauces, and juices.

The variety exhibits high resistance to major tomato diseases, such as tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, and fusarium, significantly simplifying care and increasing harvest reliability. Cultivation is performed using seedlings: seed sowing is recommended in early March, transplanting in the phase of the first true leaf, and planting seedlings in greenhouses in May, when plants reach an age of 50–55 days. For optimal plant development, the plant is trained to one stem, all suckers are removed, and the growth point is pinched off at the end of the vegetative period, leaving 7–8 trusses on the plant. Mandatory condition is staking to stakes for stem support.

The seeds of the Siberian Diamond variety retain germination viability for up to 10 years under proper storage conditions, allowing their long-term use without loss of quality. The yield of this variety reaches 11 kg per square meter, making it an attractive choice for gardeners and farmers seeking high-quality tomatoes with excellent taste and good disease resistance.
