Chocolate Banana tomato is a medium-maturing variety with a period from germination to fruiting of 105-110 days. The plant is indeterminate, tall, reaching up to 2 meters in height. Leaves are medium-length and green, inflorescences are intermediate, and the peduncle is equipped with a joint. Fruits have a cylindrical shape, medium density, and medium-ribbed surface. Unripe fruits are green, while ripe ones turn brown, which gave the variety its name. Each fruit weighs between 90 to 120 grams, and the taste is excellent. This tomato variety is recommended for cultivation both in open ground and under temporary film coverings with mandatory support on stakes. For bush formation, it is recommended to leave 1-2 stems and remove suckers, which promotes better growth and yield. Seeds are sown in seedlings at the end of March - beginning of April, and transplanting is done at the stage of the first true leaf. Seedlings are planted at the beginning or middle of May, and if April is warm, planting can be done at the end of the month. Harvesting occurs from July to September. Chocolate Banana tomato is especially valued for its versatility. Fruits are suitable for fresh salads and are also ideal for whole-fruit canning. The yield of this variety is about 15.6 kg per square meter, making it attractive for gardeners and farmers aiming to obtain a stable and high-quality harvest.
