Description
Black Ice is a medium-maturing, tall tomato variety that can reach up to 2 meters in height. The period from germination to full ripeness is 90-110 days, allowing for harvest within relatively short timeframes. The plant demonstrates good resistance to pests, simplifying care and reducing the risk of crop loss.
The fruits of this variety have an elegant elongated shape resembling a finger, with a distinctive pointed tip. Their length reaches 12 cm, and weight varies from 80 to 120 grams. Ripe tomatoes are brown, turning almost black upon overripening. The fruit skin is smooth and glossy, while the flesh is firm, ensuring high quality and attractive appearance of the vegetables.
One of the key advantages of this variety is the fruit’s resistance to cracking, which significantly extends storage life and allows for transportation over long distances without quality loss. Thanks to these characteristics, the Black Ice tomato is suitable for both home gardening and commercial cultivation.
