Description PINK BUD
Pink Bud tomato is a medium-maturing, determinate variety with a period from germination to fruiting of 110-115 days. The plant reaches a height of up to 100 cm and features compact bushes with medium-length green leaves. Fruits are plum-shaped, bright pink in color, weighing 18-20 grams, and contain two chambers. Immature fruits are green with dark green spots.

This variety is recommended for cultivation in temporary plastic covers, where it yields 6.3–6.9 kg per square meter. Plants require moderate suckering and can be shaped into 2–3 stems. Seeds are sown indoors in March–April, followed by transplanting into the ground in May. Harvesting begins in July. Seeds retain viability for up to 10 years under proper storage conditions, and it is recommended to increase sowing rates after the expiration of their shelf life.

Pink Bud tomato is valued for its low maintenance and prolonged fruiting. Its bright, flavorful fruits are ideal for fresh consumption, pickling, and whole-fruit canning. Due to their attractive appearance, tomatoes look great in summer vegetable arrangements both individually and as part of mixed displays, making this variety versatile for various uses.
