Capia rozovaya — a medium-maturing indeterminate tomato variety, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under temporary film cover. Plants reach a height of 190-210 cm and exhibit even fruit distribution. Ripening occurs approximately on day 108-115 after full emergence, with the first fruits appearing as early as 80 days after transplanting. The plants are robust, with thin leaves, and possess good disease resistance, facilitating care and increasing yield.
The fruits of this variety have an unusual pepper-like shape, bright pink color, and weigh about 150 g. They are juicy, soft, and meaty with few seeds and a rich aroma, making them ideal for preparing fresh summer salads, juices, canning in their own juice, as well as for drying and freezing. When frozen, tomatoes retain their flavor and nutritional qualities, often becoming even more flavorful. Commercial yield is 4.5-5 kg per plant.
This tomato variety originates from Romania and is renowned for its traditional flavor, reminiscent of sweet pepper Capia. The fruits grow in fan-like clusters of 6-8 fruits, ensuring abundant and consistent harvests. Capia rozovaya is well-suited for both home and commercial cultivation, provided proper watering, fertilization, and disease protection are maintained, allowing for high-quality and flavorful produce.
