Tomato Palmira

Stability and Classic Pink Tomatoes

"Palmyra" is the result of breeding work by VNIIISSOK and the Gavrish company, having established a reputation as a reliable variety for those who value predictability. This tomato belongs to determinate cultures, making it an optimal solution for both open-field cultivation and film-covered greenhouses. The variety has undergone years of testing by agricultural producers, confirming its efficiency in intensive vegetable farming.

Technological Features and Productivity

The core strength of "Palmyra" lies in the balance between early maturation and the commercial appeal of the fruit. The 90-100 day maturation period allows for harvest during optimal market windows. A significant advantage is the 150-200 gram fruit weight, which is considered the "gold standard" for the fresh market — such tomatoes are convenient for packaging, transport, and retail chain sales.

• Plant Type: Determinate, which facilitates maintenance and pruning.
• Yield: With proper agricultural practices, the variety demonstrates yields of 70-100 tons per hectare.
• Fruit Quality: The classic round shape and vibrant pink color attract buyers, while excellent transportability ensures that the market quality is maintained even during long-distance delivery.

By choosing "Palmyra," an agronomist receives genetics refined over decades, free from marketing "surprises." It is a practical tool for farmers focused on the stable supply of high-quality pink produce in the medium-sized tomato segment.
