Tomato CAPITAL PIECE

CAPITAL PIECE — ultra-early determinate cherry tomato hybrid with attractive plum-shaped fruits. The first fruits ripen approximately 80-85 days after germination, making it suitable for spring-summer rotation in greenhouses. Plants are indeterminate, tall, reaching over 2 meters, and well-branched. The first flower cluster is low-set — above the 6th-7th leaf, subsequent clusters are spaced 2-3 leaves apart. Clusters are simple, dense, with 8-10 fruits that ripen almost simultaneously, facilitating harvesting by clusters.

Fruits weigh 25-30 grams, smooth, red in color with no spots at the stem, oval in shape and firm texture. They are resistant to cracking and splitting, enhancing their market appearance and transportability. The flavor is rich and concentrated due to high dry matter content, making them particularly appealing for salads and fresh consumption.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major tomato diseases, including fusarium, blossom end rot, root rot, powdery mildew, tomato mosaic virus (TMV), and late blight. Additionally, it is heat-tolerant, enabling cultivation under various climatic conditions. Yield is 10-12 kg per square meter, making CAPITAL PIECE a profitable choice for greenhouse cultivation.
