Tomato Capia — this is an old Romanian variety, known for its unique taste and shape, resembling the sweet pepper Capia. The plant is indeterminate type with a strong bush reaching up to two meters in height. The bushes have thin leaves and high yield, forming fan-shaped clusters of 6-8 fruits each. The fruits have an elongated shape, deep red color, and weigh about 150 grams. The flesh of the tomatoes is juicy, with a small amount of seeds, very aromatic and succulent, making this variety especially valuable for various cooking methods. Maturation period is medium: the first fruits appear approximately after 80 days after transplanting, and the main harvest matures after 110-120 days. Tomato Capia is characterized by good resistance to diseases, which simplifies cultivation and ensures a stable yield. The fruits are dense and juicy, with a rich sweet taste, making them versatile in use. They are excellent for fresh consumption, salad preparation, whole canning, pickling, drying, as well as for making pastes and sauces.
