Tomato Blyuz

Heritage of Professional Selection

The 'Blues' tomato is a result of dedicated research by the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Production and the Partner seed company. This variety embodies the classical breeding school, focusing on stability and consistent performance in temperate climates. It has earned a solid reputation among professional growers and small-scale farmers as a reliable source of large, high-quality fruit.

Agronomic Profile

Categorized as a mid-to-late season tomato, 'Blues' requires a growth cycle of 120–130 days from emergence to maturity. This makes it well-suited for both greenhouse cultivation and outdoor planting in regions with long, warm growing seasons. The variety is particularly valued for its impressive harvest metrics.

• Fruit Weight: Consistently exceeds 200 grams, firmly placing it in the large-fruited category.
• Morphology: Features a unique combination of heart-shaped and plum-shaped traits.
• Color Palette: Available in both vibrant red and bright yellow varieties, allowing for market versatility.

Unlike quick-maturing hybrids designed for fast cycles, 'Blues' rewards the patient grower with a fleshy, dense structure and a balanced sugar-acid profile. These characteristics make it an excellent choice for culinary applications, including juices and purees, as well as a standalone premium product for the fresh produce market.
