Tomato Muzhenek

The tomato variety Mужenek is a medium-early indeterminate plant reaching up to 2 meters in height. It is characterized by abundant and prolonged fruiting, ensuring a stable and high yield. The plant requires staking and pruning and is suitable for cultivation in plastic covers and greenhouses, including winter ones, where productivity significantly increases. Leaves are large and dark green, and inflorescences are simple, facilitating plant care.

The fruits of tomato Mужenek are round, smooth, and medium density, weighing from 130 to 180 grams. Unripe fruits are green, turning into a deep red upon ripening. The number of locules in the fruits ranges from 4 to 6. Tomatoes have good taste, high marketability, storability, and transportability, making them convenient for sale and storage. Fruits exhibit prolonged shelf life both on the plant and under natural storage conditions.

The variety is resistant to major tomato diseases such as fusarium wilt, blossom end rot, and root rot, enhancing cultivation reliability and reducing yield losses. Mужenek is recommended for fresh consumption, home cooking, and processing into tomato products. High yield, reaching 10.6–11 kg per square meter in plastic-covered greenhouses, makes this variety attractive for gardeners and farmers seeking a high-quality and stable yield.
