Tomato Bliznyashki

Technical Specifications of the 'Bliznyashki' Tomato Variety

Developed by Siberian selection centers (Central Siberian Botanical Garden, S.N. Kondakov), the 'Bliznyashki' tomato is engineered for high stability in regions with short growing seasons. As a determinate variety, it offers a compact growth habit, which minimizes the need for complex pruning and staking, making it an efficient choice for both commercial and home agricultural operations.

Key Agrotechnical Features

• Maturity Period: 90–100 days from seedling emergence. This early harvest window is a strategic advantage for avoiding late-season blight and adverse weather conditions.
• Fruit Architecture: With a weight of 80–100 grams and a classic oblate shape, the fruits are categorized as highly suitable for both fresh consumption and processing.
• Growth Dynamics: The determinate growth pattern dictates that the plant stops growing after setting a specific number of fruit clusters, resulting in a concentrated harvest and better resource allocation by the plant.

The practical value of this variety lies in its genetic adaptation to cold resistance and rapid fruit set. 'Bliznyashki' provides growers with a predictable output, balancing foliage production with fruit development. Its structure ensures optimal light distribution within the canopy, simplifying maintenance and promoting high-quality yield across the entire plant.
