Tomato Blitz — this is an ultra-early hybrid that reaches fruiting in just 80 days from seedlings. Plants have a medium height of 70-80 cm and are suitable for cultivation both in plastic greenhouses and in open ground. Sowing for seedlings is recommended in April, with transplanting at the stage of the first true leaf. Transplanting into the soil is carried out at the age of 30-35 days, usually in early to mid-May or late May to early June, depending on weather conditions. Tomato Blitz fruits have a flat-round shape and weigh 80-90 grams. They are distinguished by a very pleasant sweet taste, making them ideal for preparing fresh summer salads. Plants form 2-3 stems, and the planting scheme is 40x50 cm. The hybrid is characterized by good yield until mass infection by phytophthora, allowing to obtain up to 3-3.3 kg of fruit per plant. In addition to high yield, Tomato Blitz is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus and fusarium, which significantly simplifies care and increases the chances of successful cultivation. Thanks to these qualities and good taste, this variety is popular among gardeners who prefer to grow tomatoes both in open beds and under plastic.
