Tomato Kremenchugskiy

Technical Specifications of the 'Kremenchutskyi' Tomato

Developed by the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing of the NAAS, the 'Kremenchutskyi' variety is a specialized cultivar designed for field cultivation. Its determinate growth architecture is a functional engineering solution that restricts the plant height after 4–5 inflorescences are formed, significantly reducing the need for manual pruning and vertical support.

Ripening Cycle and Biological Yield

The variety features a 105–110 day maturity cycle, positioning it optimally within the mid-early segment. The fruit presents a uniform flat-round shape with an average mass of 115–120 grams. This specific sizing is ideal for both bulk logistical handling and fresh market retail, as it ensures structural integrity during transport.

Field Performance Factors

• Productivity: The variety demonstrates a strong yield potential of 60–70 tons per hectare, contingent upon adherence to standard agricultural practices.
• Industrial Applicability: Thanks to an optimal balance of solids and sugars, the fruits are highly suitable for both fresh consumption and industrial processing.
• Environmental Resilience: 'Kremenchutskyi' is specifically bred for the soil and climatic diversity found in Ukraine, offering robust resistance against regional field pathogens.

This variety serves as a reliable asset for agricultural enterprises that prioritize operational efficiency, predictable maturity cycles, and consistent yield volumes in open-field conditions.
