Black Pearl

Tomato Black Pearl is a tall, mid-season variety characterized by chocolate-colored fruit clusters. The plant forms clusters containing 6 to 12 cocktail tomatoes, each weighing 30–40 grams. The fruits are distinguished by their rich flavor and sweeter flesh compared to red-fruited varieties, as well as a high content of lycopene and anthocyanins, making them especially beneficial and appealing for fresh consumption.

This variety is recommended for cultivation under plastic coverings, enabling a stable yield. Sowing is performed in March–April at a depth of 1–2 cm, followed by transplanting when the plant has 2–3 true leaves. Seedlings are planted in greenhouses in April–May and in open ground in June. After planting, plants should be staked and pinched to ensure proper formation and improved fruiting. The optimal planting scheme is 40x60 cm.
