The 'Naставnik' tomato variety is an early-maturing, high-yielding salad-type hybrid, ripening 100–110 days after germination. The plant is tall and indeterminate, allowing it to reach significant height. For successful cultivation in open ground, staking and pinching the top are recommended to promote quality yield. Naставnik is adapted to various climatic conditions, including northern regions, and can set fruit even under adverse weather. The 'Naставnik' tomato fruits are large, round, bright red, weighing about 200 grams. They have dense, juicy flesh with high sugar and lycopene content, giving them a rich flavor and enhanced nutritional value. The flesh contains no hard cellulose fibers, making the fruits especially pleasant to eat fresh. Each cluster forms 5–7 fruits, ensuring high yield per plant. The variety has good storability and transportability, preserving fruit quality during transit and storage. Naставnik is resistant to major tomato diseases such as tobacco mosaic virus, fusarium, and bacterial spot, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. The plant tolerates humidity and temperature fluctuations well and responds positively to fertilizer application, making it attractive for cultivation both in protected and open ground.
