Fodder beet Babybeat RZ

A Benchmark for Processing and Storage

Dutch breeding from Rijk Zwaan has long set the gold standard for the professional vegetable market. The «Бэбибит РЦ» variety is a premier choice for commercial growers aiming for top-tier produce quality, perfectly suited for both long-term storage and industrial processing.

Biological Traits and Market Quality

The standout feature of «Бэбибит РЦ» is its impeccable internal structure. When sliced, there are no radial rings to be found—the flesh is a deep, uniform dark red throughout. Its consistent round shape ensures ease of mechanical peeling, an essential requirement for companies producing vacuum-packed or frozen beetroot products.

• Vegetation period: 110–120 days.
• Smooth skin texture and a compact leaf rosette.
• High yield potential under professional management.

Market Positioning and Usage

Within the table beet segment, «Бэбибит РЦ» occupies the "reliable result" niche. This hybrid shows excellent resilience against temperature fluctuations, making it a predictable performer in intensive farming environments. Thanks to its dense internal structure, the beet withstands transportation exceptionally well and retains its marketability in storage facilities well into the spring. For agronomists, this translates to minimal storage losses and a high percentage of sellable output. This is the optimal selection for producers who demand consistency in color and shape without compromise.
