The "Spectrum" tobacco variety belongs to mid-late varieties and reaches maturity in 72–80 days. The plant has a cylindrical shape, with a bush height of about 1.4 m, and leaves are sessile, light green with characteristic whitening across the entire blade upon maturing. The leaves are oval-shaped, with an average number of 24 to 26 in the middle row, length around 50 cm, and width about 30 cm.
"Spectrum" is characterized by good drought resistance and stability against unfavorable meteorological conditions. However, the variety is not resistant to diseases, so preventive measures are required during cultivation. Under optimal care conditions, germination reaches 90%.
Seeds are packaged in packets with a Zip‑lock seal: each package contains 3000 seeds, net weight is about 0.3 g, total weight is approximately 2.00 g. The product was produced in 2025 and has a shelf life of up to 10 years.
"Spectrum" is classified as a Western Soviet/post-Soviet variety with an aromatic skeletal type. It is suitable for shade curing and is widely used in the production of tobacco products thanks to its mid-late nature and leaf quality.
