Sweet Corn NIKA 252

NIKA 252 is a universal hybrid of sweet corn, intended for cultivation in various regions of Russia. It is distinguished by phenomenal lodging resistance and low harvesting moisture, which facilitates the harvest process. Large drooping ears and high resistance to diseases and bird damage make this variety particularly attractive to farmers seeking to obtain high-quality and stable yields. The productivity potential of the hybrid reaches 130 centners per hectare, indicating its high yield even under extensive cultivation technologies.

Sweet corn NIKA 252 is widely used not only as a food crop for obtaining delicacies but also as a curtain crop that slows down air movement in the vegetable growth zone, contributing to increased yield of neighboring plants, such as cucumbers. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to use fertile soils with a neutral reaction. Before sowing, peat-manure compost and complex fertilizers are added to the soil, and hillside formation is conducted to form adventitious roots, which improves plant nutrition. During the tassel emergence phase, chelate iron supplementation is beneficial to prevent deficiency of this microelement.

NIKA 252 is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, including the Central, Central Black Earth, Middle Volga, Lower Volga, Ural, Western Siberia, and Far East regions. Thanks to its characteristics and adaptability, this hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers seeking to obtain high-quality sweet corn yields with minimal risks and expenses.
