MIRZA is a mid-ripening hybrid of super-sweet sugarcorn (sh2) that is distinguished by its high productivity and excellent marketability. The cobs have a light yellow color, a length of 23 to 26 cm, and a diameter of about 5.4-5.5 cm. The kernels are large, with the number of rows across the diameter ranging from 16 to 20 and a row length of 40-42 kernels. The average weight of a cob is about 460 g, which indicates its high mass and quality. The shape of the cobs is slightly tapered, giving them an attractive appearance, and the tip shape is very good. The MIRZA plant is characterized by a sturdy structure and resistance to lodging, ensuring reliability during cultivation. The average height of the corn is 220-230 cm, and the height of the first tassel is 85-95 cm. The hybrid possesses tolerance to rust and moderate resistance to northern corn leaf blight, enhancing its disease resistance.
