Wild cabbage Opaal RZ F1

Stability and Quality: Why Professionals Choose Opal RC F1

The Opal RC F1 cauliflower from Rijk Zwaan is a classic example of genetics focused on intensive production. Unlike many competitors, this hybrid offers farmers a predictable outcome: with a maturity cycle of 40–50 days after transplanting, you get a high-quality head perfectly suited for both the fresh market and the processing industry.

Key Advantages

• Compactness and Density: Heads weighing 1.0–1.5 kg feature a uniform shape and high density, which is critical for logistics and storage.
• Color Characteristics: The signature grey-green shade of the inflorescences gives the produce an appealing and fresh appearance.
• Agronomics: A recommended planting density of 35,000–40,000 plants/ha allows for optimal field space utilization without compromising plant health.

The main strength of Opal RC F1 lies in its resilience. The hybrid adapts well to various growing conditions without sacrificing head quality. For growers, this means minimized waste during harvest and the ability to flexibly plan sales—from fresh market distribution to freezing or canning.

Who Is This Hybrid For?

Opal RC F1 is an excellent choice for medium to large vegetable farms that prioritize harvest stability. If you need a hybrid with predictable yields, high marketability, and excellent taste, this Dutch-bred product will meet your professional expectations.
