NBM 2020

NBM 2020 is a mid-season super-sweet Sh2-type sweet corn hybrid developed by the Ukrainian producer MNAGOR. The plant has a vegetation period of 75-78 days and is intended for cultivation in open ground. The planting rate is 55-65 thousand plants per hectare, ensuring a stable yield of 30-40 thousand ears per hectare.

The ears of NBM 2020 have a bright yellow color and a trapezoidal shape, with ear length exceeding 23 cm. The kernels have a high sugar content — over 22% — which gives the product exceptional taste qualities. The hybrid is characterized by good drought and heat tolerance, resistance to stressful growing conditions and most common diseases, contributing to stable yields and high commercial output.

Due to its characteristics, NBM 2020 is ideally suited for fresh consumption. The quality of the ears is preserved during transportation and storage, making this hybrid popular among producers and consumers. The bright color and attractive appearance of the kernels also enhance its commercial appeal.
