STRONGSTAR F1 sweet corn is an early super-sweet SH2 type hybrid developed by the Dutch company Syngenta Seeds. This hybrid features a short vegetation period — from emergence to maturity takes about 65-71 days, making it one of the earliest on the market. Plants reach up to 190 cm in height, possess strong leafiness and resistance to various weather conditions, as well as high disease resistance, including resistance to rust and other common corn diseases. STRONGSTAR corn ears have a cylindrical shape, uniform in size, and are fully filled with dense, bright yellow kernels. Ear length reaches 21-23 cm, diameter — 5-5.4 cm, kernels arranged in 18-20 neat rows with depth of 12-13 mm. Kernels are large, juicy, and glossy, retaining rich sweet flavor and bright color even after thermal processing, storage, and transportation. Thanks to these qualities, the hybrid has excellent appearance, high transportability, and storability.
