Snow White is a mid-season, high-yielding hybrid of sweet corn. The period from emergence to technical maturity is 80-85 days. The plants are medium-height, up to 190 cm. The hybrid produces evenly spaced and uniform ears.
Ears are large, cylindrical, 20-22 cm long, 4.2-4.5 cm in diameter, weighing 220-240 g. The number of rows of kernels per ear is 14-16.
Kernels are uniform, not large, with excellent taste.
Yield — 14-16 t/ha. The product is used for canning, freezing, and fresh consumption. The hybrid is highly resistant to many diseases (head smut, common rust, bacterial rots).
Biological characteristics. At technical maturity, the sugar content in kernels on dry matter is 23-24%. Kernels contain proteins, fats, vitamins, valuable amino acids, dextrins. At technical maturity, high resistance to lodging. Under favorable conditions, forms 2 cobs. Minimum distance between plants in a row — 25 cm. For fresh high-quality product, use cobs and kernels of sweet corn in the milk stage. Cobs must be stored under good ventilation and low temperatures.
Seeding rate is 50,000 plants per hectare.
