Sugarcane corn Jubilee F1 is a medium-maturing SU-type hybrid developed by Syngenta Seeds specialists. The vegetation period is approximately 81 days, making this variety suitable for summer and autumn harvests. The plant is tall, reaching heights of 2.3 to 2.9 meters, which ensures good productivity under various agroclimatic conditions. Jubilee F1 is characterized by adaptability to agronomic practices and the ability to maintain yield even under limited irrigation and fertilization, although their application significantly increases crop output. Each plant forms two large ears about 21-22 cm long and 5 cm in diameter, with 16-20 rows of kernels.
The kernels of Jubilee F1 corn have a bright golden color and medium size, deeply embedded, providing a dense texture and attractive appearance. They are characterized by moderate or high sweetness, retained even after culinary processing and long-term storage. Due to these qualities, the hybrid is ideal for fresh market sales, as well as for processing, freezing, and canning. Jubilee F1 has high uniformity and consistency of yield, making it convenient for commercial cultivation and industrial use.
The hybrid is resistant to a wide range of diseases, including bacterial blight, rust, dwarf virus, and possesses immunity to diseases such as Bm, Ps, Et, Rp1-i, and MDMV. This significantly reduces the risk of crop loss and enhances cultivation reliability. Jubilee F1 is recommended for open-field cultivation and is suitable for various regions of Ukraine, making it a versatile and in-demand variety of sugar corn.
