Description ANGEY
ANGEY F1 is an early hybrid of super-sweet corn of the sh2 type, developed by the Swiss seed breeding company Soto Seeds. The vegetative period is 74-75 days, which allows for harvest in a relatively short time. Plants reach a height of 170-180 centimeters, while cobs have a length from 22 to 26 centimeters and a weight from 450 to 500 grams. The grains differ in bright yellow color and high sugar content — about 28%, which ensures an excellent sweet taste and high fruit quality. The ANGEY hybrid is characterized by stable yield and disease resistance, which makes it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions. Plants possess a powerful root system, which contributes to their cold resistance and rapid adaptation to environmental changes. Corn forms large, conical cobs with tender and sweet grains, possessing excellent commercial appearance, which is important for commercial cultivation and marketing. The recommended sowing density is 40 thousand plants per hectare using a scheme of 75 × 35 centimeters (distance between rows 75 cm, between plants in a row 35 cm). Seeds weigh from 160 to 200 grams per 1000 pieces, which ensures ease of sowing and uniform distribution of plants. The hybrid is intended for cultivation in open ground and is suitable for obtaining an early yield of quality sweet corn.
