Plant characteristics — plant height 155-175 cm. Head
medium size (22-26 cm).
Seed characteristics — medium-sized, black seeds.
Oil content in seeds: 50-52%. Protein content: 16-17%.
Meal content: 20-23%. Genetic yield potential
of seeds — about 4.7 t/ha.
Resistance to diseases and pests — genetically resistant to rust (Puccinia helianthi), sunflower moth (Homoeosoma nebulella). Also resistant to races A, B, C, and D of broomrape (Orobanche cumana). Tolerant to phomopsis (Phomopsis Diaporthe helianthi), as well as to sunflower wilt (Macrophomina phaseolina).
Sensitivity to external environment conditions — adapted to
adverse external conditions, drought-tolerant,
lodging resistance, weak shattering.
Optimal planting density before harvest — 50-55 thousand plants per 1 ha.

Region of cultivation — Forest-steppe, Steppe of Ukraine.
