Sunflower Zaporizhsky 26 (NS X 6045) is a mid-season hybrid intended for cultivation using the Clearfield technology with the herbicide Evrolight at a dosage of 1.2 L/ha. The hybrid's vegetation period is 111-114 days, allowing for a stable yield under various climatic conditions in Ukraine. The plant reaches a height of 160-180 cm, has a thin, convex head with a diameter of 20-23 cm, and a strong, highly branched root system that ensures drought and stress resistance. The hybrid exhibits high yield potential — up to 58 c/ha (5.8 t/ha), with oil content in seeds reaching 50-55%, making it attractive for oilseed production. Seeds are large, black, and contain high protein levels (16-19%). Zaporizhsky 26 demonstrates high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including fusarium, fusariosis, white mold, rust, as well as pests such as sunflower moth. Resistance to nematodes is rated A-F+, further enhancing the hybrid's reliability. The recommended plant density before harvest is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare, which promotes optimal land use and maximum yield. Due to its morphological and biological characteristics, the hybrid is suitable for cultivation in all regions of Ukraine, ensuring stable and high yields even under adverse weather conditions.
