VK 21-KLP is a mid-season sunflower hybrid intended for cultivation in production systems using imidazolinone herbicides. It features high productivity potential and high oleic acid content in oil, reaching 86%, making it particularly valuable for producing high-oleic oil from commercial seeds. The hybrid's vegetation period ranges from 100 to 124 days, and the 1000-seed mass is approximately 46.5 grams.

The hybrid exhibits resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases, including downy mildew, gray and dry rot, rust, and fomopsis, ensuring stable yields and reducing loss risks. Additionally, VK 21-KLP is adapted to imidazolinone herbicides, enabling effective control of broadleaf and grass weeds, as well as downy mildew, ensuring clean plantings and improving growing conditions for crops.

Recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the North Caucasus, Volga, Lower Volga, Ural, and West Siberian regions. Average yield in the North Caucasus region reaches 21.7 centners per hectare, and in the Volga region — up to 26 centners per hectare.
