Sunflower P64LP170 is a mid-early simple hybrid developed by DuPont / Pioneer, designed for cultivation using Clearfield Plus technology. This hybrid features high yield potential and wide adaptability to various climatic zones, including Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Northern Steppe. Due to its resistance to 7 or more ragweed species (A-G+ System II), P64LP170 provides reliable control of this pest, significantly enhancing production efficiency.

The hybrid exhibits good tolerance to major sunflower diseases, such as phomopsis, basket rot, verticillium, leaf wilting, and downy mildew. Drought tolerance is rated at 9, and oil content at 8, making it a profitable choice for regions with variable moisture levels. For optimal growth, it is recommended to maintain planting density between 50-55 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture and 45-50 thousand under insufficient moisture.

P64LP170 seeds are supplied in packages of 150,000 units and are intended for planting in the Clearfield® Plus production system using appropriate herbicides according to the manufacturer's guidelines.
