Vasilisa

Hybrid sunflower Vasilisa (Lasa) is a medium-maturing variety with a vegetation period of about 102-115 days. Plants reach a height of 170-180 cm, have a flat disk with a diameter of 21-23 cm, slightly tilted downward. Seeds are large, light-yellow, with a 1000-seed weight of 60-75 g depending on the fraction, indicating high-quality seed material. Oil content in the seeds is 49-50%, and lignin is 20-21%, ensuring high production profitability.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to herbicides in the imidazolinone (IMI) group, allowing effective use of the Clearfield® (EuroLighting) technology to control a wide range of weeds, including Ambrosia, sow thistle, and Cyclamen. The plant's root system is strong and branched, contributing to drought and lodging resistance. Additionally, Vasilisa is immune to major sunflower diseases such as phomopsis, phomosis, rust, and false powdery mildew, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss.

The recommended planting density is 50-60 thousand plants per hectare, depending on the growing region (forest-steppe or steppe). High germination energy (97%) and seed uniformity (97%) ensure uniform and synchronized emergence. Thanks to its combination of high yield (profitable — up to 53 c/ha, average — about 36 c/ha) and resistance to stress factors, hybrid Vasilisa is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve maximum and high-quality sunflower yields.
