Sunflower VA 760 SUR is an ultraprecocious variety with a vegetation period ranging from 72 to 80 days, allowing for a second harvest per year, especially after winter crops. This variety is characterized by its low stature — plant height varies from 140 to 170 cm, and the head diameter is 19-23 cm. The medium-sized, dark-gray seeds have high oil content, making the variety attractive for industrial cultivation.

VA 760 SUR demonstrates high resistance to various adverse factors, including lodging, drought, cold, and frost down to -7°C. The variety also exhibits resistance to major sunflower diseases such as false powdery mildew, fusarium, fomopsis, and downy mildew (resistance to 5 races of downy mildew — A-E). Thanks to these qualities, sunflower is successfully grown in all climatic zones of Ukraine, including northern regions with a frost-free period of no less than 110 days.

The yield potential of this variety ranges from 20 to 30 ц/ha, which corresponds to 2-3 т/ha under conventional cultivation techniques. The latest sowing date is July 20. Seeds are supplied in sowing units weighing 8.7 kg and treated with a complex of pesticides including thiophanate-methyl, thiabendazole, and metalaxyl-M, providing additional protection against diseases and pests.
