Sunflower VA 760 is an inbred line hybrid developed by the Federal Scientific Center of the All-Russian Research Institute of Oilseeds named after V.S. Pustovoyta. The plant is characterized by low growth, large dark green leaves with moderate blistering and serration, as well as a flat cross-sectional leaf shape. Flowering occurs early; ray florets have a narrowly egg-shaped form and yellow color, tubular florets are also yellow without anthocyanin discoloration of the stigma. The head is semi-downward-facing, medium-sized, with a flat seed side; the seed is medium-sized, broadly egg-shaped, with a primary black coloration and weakly expressed marginal and gray stripes. Hybrid VA 760 is intended for sowing on prepared soils and is distinguished by high yield and stable productivity. It adapts well to growing conditions, ensuring stable production and high-quality oil. Sunflower seeds meet agricultural product standards, guaranteeing yield stability and plant quality during cultivation. Sunflower VA 760 belongs to the intensive type of hybrids and possesses resistance to herbicides containing tribenuron-methyl at a dosage of 50 g/ha. This hybrid is distinguished by maximum head fullness and high oil content, making it attractive for intensive cultivation to achieve high and stable yields.
