VA 384 SUR

Sunflower variety VA 384 SUR is an ultraprecocious type with a vegetation period ranging from 74 to 80 days, allowing for double sowings per year and harvesting a second crop after winter crops. This variety is characterized by its early maturity and stable yield, reaching 2-3 tons per hectare, making it profitable to grow under various climatic conditions. High oil content in seeds is one of the key advantages of this variety, adding additional value to the harvest.

Plants of the SUR variety have an average height of 140 to 148 cm and a flower head diameter of 19 to 23 cm. The 1000-seed mass is 50-60 grams. Leaves are green, light, with no or very weak blistering. Flowering occurs early, and ray flowers are yellow. Plants are branched, with well-defined marginal stripes on seeds. The variety is resistant to lodging, drought, frost, and downy mildew, ensuring its reliability under various soil-climatic conditions. However, the variety is moderately susceptible to fomopsis and susceptible to false powdery mildew and white rot.

VA 384 SUR is suitable for cultivation in all climatic zones of Ukraine and is recommended for use in various regions of Russia. The recommended seeding rate is approximately 60,000 plants per hectare before harvest.
