The U 1188 IMLG sunflower hybrid is a high-yielding variety with high tolerance to various diseases and adverse growing conditions. Plants reach an average height of about 185 cm, have dark green leaves, and a medium flowering time. The sunflower head, approximately 23 cm in diameter, is inclined at a 45° angle, promoting optimal seed development. Seeds exhibit weak marginal and internal stripes, with oil content reaching 52%, making this hybrid attractive for producing high-quality oil.

U 1188 IMLG exhibits high resistance to sulfonylurea herbicides, facilitating weed control and enhancing the effectiveness of agronomic practices.
