The N4H505 CL hybrid sunflower is a high-oleic variety developed for the Clearfield system and adapted to the EuroLighting technology. This mid-season hybrid is characterized by uniform flowering and high yield potential, reaching 52 centners per hectare (4.0-4.5 t/ha). Plant height varies between 160-180 cm, providing optimal conditions for yield formation and resistance to lodging.
The oil content in the seeds of this hybrid ranges from 50-53%, with oleic acid content reaching up to 90%, making it particularly valuable for producing high-quality oil with improved consumer properties. The hybrid's moisture release level is 8, which facilitates efficient drying and reduces the risk of losses during harvest.
The N4H505 CL hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases and stress factors. It shows drought and lodging resistance at level 8, and demonstrates good resistance to false powdery mildew, gray mold, and Phomopsis (resistance level 7). Additionally, the hybrid is resistant to Sclerotinia with class A-E. The recommended planting density at harvest time is 50-60 thousand plants per hectare. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia. Seeds are treated with MAXIM XL 035FS and Cruiser, providing additional protection and improved germination.
