Sunflower TOBOL

High-Yield Potential of the Tobol Sunflower Variety

The Tobol sunflower variety, developed by NPO Sanbrid, is a high-performance crop specialized for the confectionery market. In the current agricultural landscape, where demand for large-caliber seeds is rising, Tobol stands out due to its stable productivity and reliable size uniformity. It effectively bridges the gap between traditional oilseed crops and high-value niche segments, providing farmers with a robust product for export and domestic food processing.

Morphological Development and Adaptability

The plant demonstrates vigorous growth, typically reaching heights of 160 to 200 cm. This structural integrity is essential for supporting a large head size, which in turn optimizes seed filling and overall grain size. The seeds exhibit a classic grey-striped appearance and notable mass, making them highly desirable for the snack industry. The genetic foundation provided by NPO Sanbrid ensures that the variety maintains its desirable characteristics under various environmental conditions.

• Crop type: Sunflower (open-pollinated variety).
• Plant height: 160–200 cm range.
• Seed quality: Large fraction, characteristic grey-striped color.
• Head morphology: Large, designed for maximum seed development.

Incorporating the Tobol variety into a crop rotation strategy is a logical step for producers targeting the premium confectionery market. By managing plant density effectively, growers can harness the full potential of these large, well-formed seeds. Tobol offers a consistent performance profile, reflecting the specialized breeding focus of NPO Sanbrid on meeting the precise requirements of modern food processing facilities.
