The sunflower hybrid «Toledo» is a high-yielding three-line variety with a mid-early maturity period of 112 to 120 days. Plants reach a height of 170-190 cm and have a thin, straight or semi-inverted head with a diameter of 21-23 cm. The vegetative period lasts about 57 days from emergence to flowering, ensuring timely maturity and high yield.

«Toledo» is distinguished by its high seed oil content—ranging from 51% to 53%, with a hulling rate of 22-24%. The potential yield of the hybrid reaches 52 c/ha, while the average yield from trials is approximately 39-42 c/ha. The hybrid belongs to the «Stay Green» type, which means the stem and leaves retain their green color until the end of the vegetative period, promoting better photosynthesis and stress resistance.

Special attention is paid to «Toledo's» resistance to diseases and unfavorable conditions. The hybrid exhibits high drought tolerance and is resistant to a wide range of diseases, including A-E strains of sunflower downy mildew (Cercospora), Phoma, rust, Phoma brown spot, powdery mildew, and white and gray mold. Additionally, it is resistant to herbicides based on tribenuron-methyl, facilitating weed control in crops. The recommended plant density at harvest varies by region and ranges from 44 to 56 thousand plants per hectare, optimizing yield under various climatic conditions of the Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones.
