Amarok

Sunflower AmaroK is a high-yielding hybrid designed for cultivation under various soil-climatic conditions. It is a robust, tall plant with a height ranging from 165 to 320 cm, depending on growing conditions, and a high ear attachment level of 95–130 cm. The hybrid features rapid early growth and high cold tolerance, allowing for early planting. AmaroK belongs to the mid-maturing group with a FAO maturity group of 320 and is suitable for both grain production, silage, and compound feed. AmaroK is characterized by its high yield potential: average grain yield is around 11.0 t/ha, with a potential of up to 15.8 t/ha, and green mass yield reaches 700 centners/ha. The hybrid exhibits drought tolerance and plasticity, ensuring stable fruiting even under adverse conditions. Seeds have a horny kernel type and provide rapid moisture release, facilitating harvesting and subsequent processing. Recommended seeding rate varies from 55–65 thousand/ha under unfavorable conditions to 75–85 thousand/ha under favorable conditions. AmaroK shows high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including helminthosporiosis, fusarium, powdery mildew, and lodging. The number of kernels per ear is 14–18, and the number of kernels per row is 33–42, contributing to high kernel yield. Due to its agronomic characteristics and adaptability, the hybrid AmaroK is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high and stable sunflower yields.
