Agat

AGAT is a classic sunflower hybrid of French selection, intended for cultivation in all regions of Ukraine. It is distinguished by stable high yields, reaching up to 4.5 tons per hectare, which corresponds to approximately 45 centners per hectare. The hybrid has a growing period of 110–115 days, allowing for efficient use in various climatic conditions of the country.

One of the key features of the AGAT hybrid is its high resistance to lodging, rust (with resistance to 7 and more races), as well as to common sunflower diseases and weeds. A powerful and well-developed root system, reaching up to 2 meters in length, ensures high drought resistance and stable yields even in arid regions, such as the southern regions of Ukraine. Additionally, the hybrid is characterized by a sturdy stem and resistance to wind loads.

AGAT sunflower seeds have a large kernel with a slightly convex head shape, which contributes to a high oil yield - up to 50%. High energy of growth and genetic resistance make this hybrid a reliable choice for farmers seeking to obtain a high-quality and stable sunflower crop in various agro-climatic conditions.
