Sunflower SY Subtil

SY Subtil — this is a linoleic type sunflower hybrid with high yield potential and drought resistance. It demonstrates high yield stability under various climatic conditions, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones, including Central and Northern regions. The hybrid is characterized by good pollenization of the head, especially under stress conditions, which contributes to the formation of high-quality crops.

One of the key features of SY Subtil is its tolerance to major sunflower diseases such as phomopsis, sclerotinia of the head, false powdery mildew, and rust. This significantly reduces the risk of crop loss and reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications. The hybrid is optimized for use with the herbicide Express by FMC, which simplifies weed control and enhances the efficiency of agronomic practices.

The recommended planting density of SY Subtil varies depending on soil moisture levels: from 35–45 thousand plants per hectare under low moisture to 50–55 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture. This approach allows maximum adaptation of the hybrid cultivation to specific conditions and ensures a stable and high yield. SY Subtil is suitable for conventional cultivation and is an optimal choice for farmers seeking sustainable and efficient sunflower production.
