Mag 5315 is a mid-early first-generation sunflower hybrid, characterized by a maturity period of about 115 days. The plant is strong, well-leafed, with green leaves and no or very weak pubescence. The upper part of the stem is strongly drooping, the head is medium-sized, half-turned downward with a curved stem, and the seed is small, narrowly oval, with a black base color and weak gray stripes. The ray flower is yellow, spindle-shaped, and the tube flower is orange. The hybrid has high autofertility and resistance to lodging. Mag 5315 hybrid is distinguished by high yield — up to 54-55 centners per hectare, and oil content in seeds reaches 49.6-53%. A feature of the variety is high oleic acid content, which can reach up to 93%, making it especially valuable for producing high-quality oil. The plant is adapted to the Clearfield production system and resistant to the herbicide Express at the rate of 50 g/ha, facilitating weed control and improving cultivation efficiency. Mag 5315 is recommended for cultivation in various regions with challenging weather conditions and low-fertility soils, including Rostov, Lipetsk, Orenburg regions, Stavropol Krai, and Bashkortostan Republic. The hybrid shows high tolerance to diseases such as fusarium, sclerotinia, false powdery mildew, as well as resistance to LMV and rust. The optimal plant stand density at harvest is 55-60 thousand per hectare, contributing to maximum productivity and quality of the harvest.
