Sunflower R 13 GV 1 MJK

French breeding for stable yields

Limagrain has maintained its leadership in sunflower breeding for decades, and the Р 13 ГВ 1 МЖК hybrid stands as a prime example of European intensive farming standards. Developed by experts at Lima Europa and Soltis, this planting material is designed for farmers who prioritize seed quality and reliable field protection.

Technological potential and resistance

A key feature of this model is its compatibility with the «Clearfield» (Euro-Lightning) herbicide system. This strategy allows for effective control of a wide range of weeds and parasites directly in the field without risking crop suppression. With a vegetation period of 100–110 days, it is an optimal choice for most agro-climatic zones, ensuring balanced harvest planning.

In field conditions, the hybrid shows impressive resilience:

• Foliar health: a powerful genetic foundation provides defense against Alternaria, rust, phomopsis, and various types of rot.
• Adaptability: resistance to Septoria and charcoal rot minimizes the risk of crop loss even in challenging temperature conditions.

Morphology and oil content

The plant height (ranging from 150 to 190 cm depending on soil fertility and moisture) provides excellent uniformity, which simplifies the operation of harvesting equipment. Limagrain has achieved high oil content levels, reaching 45–50%, making this hybrid a profitable asset for supply to processing facilities.

Р 13 ГВ 1 МЖК is a proven solution for those who prioritize clean fields and predictable yields, backed by the authority of French breeding centers.
