Sunflower OKLAHOMA

Oklahoma Sunflower is a mid-season, high-oleic hybrid designed for conventional cultivation. It exhibits high resistance to major diseases such as fusarium, fusariosis, gray and white mold, ensuring reliable and stable yields. The seeds have a high oil content — 52-53% — making this hybrid attractive for oil production. The yield potential is approximately 50 centners per hectare, enabling efficient use in various agro-climatic conditions.

The recommended seeding rate depends on soil moisture levels: 45-50 thousand seeds per hectare should be sown under insufficient moisture, while 55-60 thousand seeds per hectare are recommended under adequate moisture. This adaptability to growing conditions promotes optimal plant development and maximum utilization of soil resources. The average maturity period allows the hybrid to fit successfully into crop rotation and ensure timely harvest.

Oklahoma Sunflower is suitable for cultivation in various regions, including steppe and forest-steppe zones, due to its resistance to adverse weather conditions and diseases. Its high oil content and stable yield make this hybrid an advantageous choice for producers focused on quality oilseed. Its use contributes to obtaining a high-quality product with good technological properties.
