Sunflower TFSA 3566 A

Working with MAS Seeds TFS 3566 A

When you enter the field with the TFS 3566 A hybrid from French breeder Mas Seeds, you immediately notice the technological advantages during sowing. Standing at 180-190 cm, this sunflower is extremely operator-friendly during harvest: the stalk is robust and resistant to lodging, allowing the combine to maintain optimal speed with minimal header losses.

Protection and Care

For an agronomist working with the Clearfield system, this hybrid is a true asset. Its resistance to the EURO-LIGHTNING herbicide group effectively eliminates concerns over weeds and broomrape. You don't need complex tank mixes; a single timely application during the vegetation period handles the majority of weed management. Regarding plant health, TFS 3566 A performs like a true professional: even in wet seasons with high pressure from Downy Mildew, Phomopsis, and Phoma, the crop remains clean. This saves significant budget on fungicides, which can then be reallocated to micronutrient applications.

Performance and Results

An oil content of 45-50% is a solid standard, consistently yielding good premiums at the elevator. The grain is well-filled with a high test weight, making it easier to dry and store. In practice, this hybrid is low-maintenance: it reliably reaches its genetic potential across various soil types, delivering the exact kind of "European" predictability that farmers value when avoiding unnecessary risks in their agronomic practices.

• Consistent Height: 180–190 cm, ensuring uniform harvest cutting.
• Herbicide Flexibility: Fully compatible with the EURO-LIGHTNING technology.
• Crop Health: High genetic resistance to key pathogens (Phoma, Phomopsis, and Downy Mildew).
• Economic Efficiency: High oil content (45-50%) with minimal fungicide input requirements.
