Sunflower Petropavlivskyi

Genetic Potential of the Petropavlivskyi Variety

The breeding product from the "Nibas" agricultural firm is a classic sunflower variety focused on stable production under intensive farming conditions. The key feature of this genetic material is its plasticity, allowing for the mitigation of risks associated with fluctuating climatic conditions during the growing season.

Agrobiological Characteristics

• Hybrid type: variety. This indicates high line purity, enabling farmers to independently select seed material for subsequent cycles without the loss of productivity typical of heterotic hybrids.
• Manufacturer: Agricultural firm "Nibas" (Ukraine). The breeding is adapted to the typical soil and climatic zones of Ukraine, minimizing stress factors during field acclimatization.

Practical Significance of the Breeding

The use of the "Petropavlivskyi" variety in crop rotation is justified for farms aiming to reduce dependence on annual purchases of expensive seed material. Technically, the variety is balanced in terms of maturation period: intensive root system development in the early stages ensures access to deep moisture reserves, which is critical during dry summers. Resistance to lodging and seed shattering optimizes harvesting equipment operation, reducing losses during direct combining.

Yield stability is achieved through precise head morphology and high seed density. This variety shows consistent results on soils of medium and high fertility when adhering to standard agronomic protocols recommended by the manufacturer.
