P64BE800 Hybrid Sunflower is a mid-season simple hybrid with a vegetation period of about 116-117 days. It is intended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones of Ukraine and is characterized by high yield stability and quality. Medium-height plants have excellent drought resistance and lodging resistance, ensuring reliability under adverse weather conditions. The hybrid is adapted for use in both well-watered and water-stressed conditions, with a recommended planting density of 45 to 55 thousand plants per hectare depending on moisture levels.
P64BE800 is characterized by high oleic acid content — up to 75%, and oil content at 50-52%. This makes it especially valuable for producing high-quality oil products. Seeds are formed in large quantities in the head, contributing to high yield potential reaching up to 50 centners per hectare. The hybrid also has low oil content, making it suitable for poultry feed.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including phomopsis, phomopsis, head and stem rot, verticillium wilt, and downy mildew (resistance to races A-G). Resistance levels to drought and diseases are high, ensuring yield stability even under challenging agroclimatic conditions. Thanks to these characteristics, P64BE800 is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain stable and high-quality sunflower yields.
