Sunflower PR 64 F 66

Sunflower PR 64 F 66 is a high-yielding early-maturing hybrid of the linoleum type with a vegetative period of about 110-115 days. This hybrid is distinguished by high seed oil content reaching 50% and high yield potential up to 55 centners/hectare. Plants have medium height and a convex head, which contributes to lodging resistance and facilitates harvest. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones, including southern regions with an arid climate, thanks to its excellent drought tolerance.

One of the key features of PR 64 F 66 is high resistance to sunflower rust, including tolerance to 7 races (A-G), which makes it a benchmark for resistance to this pest. Additionally, the hybrid has good resistance to major diseases such as phomopsis, phoma, downy mildew, white rot of the head and stem, verticillium and petiole wilting. These characteristics ensure yield stability and reduce loss risks under unfavorable conditions.

For optimal development and maximum productivity, it is recommended to maintain a certain planting density: in zones with sufficient moisture — 50-60 thousand plants per hectare, and under conditions of insufficient moisture — 45-55 thousand plants per hectare. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation with the application of soil herbicides, which facilitates crop care and improves weed control effectiveness. Thanks to the combination of high yield, disease resistance, and drought tolerance, PR 64 F 66 is a reliable choice for farmers seeking stable and high-quality sunflower harvest.
